Wow, what a Regatta!!

Well, I still can't beleive that I placed second in Open class-Course Racing at the Canadian National Windsurfing Championships held in Regina Sask. this past weekend!! I sailed my butt off :) I know I gave it all I had, cause when I finished each heat race, I was exhausted. I had great starts, tacked really fast and went full speed into the jibes!! I really feel I sailed above my ability those four races on Saturday. Also, what a thrill to cross the finish line with a bunch of people cheering you on...that was a really cool feeling.
As I said in my previous post, whenever I borrow something from my pal Link, I always win something! So, thanks again bud, you were with me at every start/tack/jibe/screaming reach/and body drag at the finish line!! I even had your balance, cause I never wiped out once (in Course racing). I think that was a BIG difference between 2nd place or perhaps 10th place.
Thanks to my family/friends for all your support. I'm feeling pretty good :) and happy to be home again!!
WOOHOO!!
