Nice Weekend

I'm nice and warm again after just getting out of the hot tub :)
I went windsurfing in the freezing cold wind today, and yesterday. The air temp was around 4C (-3C wind chill). Although some people have a cut-off from sailing with a "25 formula" (air/water temp combo), today was probably around a "15 formula" day. I thought the water is still not too bad to go out in with my new drysuit, so I thought I'd just tough it out in the cold air. I wiped out several times today mostly due to the wind. It was really crappy!!! It went from 5 knots to 25 knots in 200ft!! Crazy wind!! I was the only one on the lake as usual around this time of year, but I pack my cell phone under my drysuit(a tip from my pal Link) just in case of an emergency. As I was getting off the lake, it started to snow....I took this as a sign from mother nature to pack it up.

All in all, it's always good to be on the water :)

Ya, ya, ya... you listen to "Mother Nature", when it is time to pack up, but you don't listen to your mother of 3 kids!! Mei oh mei!

HAHAHA. Nice come back Margo. Brad, I figure you got at least 30 more days of sailing. The icebergs would scare me off, not the snow.
Nice pic. :~)
