Time to play in the snow

This is Paul (black kite) and myself kiteskiing in Sioux Lookout last March. We had a great sunny day kiting and the wind picked up to 30k. We'll be going to the first ever 'Mille Lacs Kite Crossing' in Minnesota coming up this February 25-28, so I have to start getting myself conditioned a bit for kiting. This is really alot of fun harnessing the winds power in your hands. Not as much fun as windsurfing I say, but still a great adrenaline rush. Makes the winter go by a bit faster as well.

Really cool! You guys look like professional kiters! Maybe that's why I wasn't able to do it, I didn't have the fancy-schmancy gear as U2 :)

Hey Woody, nice kiting pics. We are going to head up to Minnetonka, MN for the kite freeze Feb 4-6. Are you guys coming down? I got myself some kites for the snow and water. Can't wait to try them.

Would be fun to see you guys soon. Let me know what goes on. We went to Mille Lac a few weeks ago, more party than kiting there due to weather reasons. Still had a great time.

Don't forget to invite me out kiting with you! I think it's more fun than windsurfing, but windsurfing is also fun.
