Just relaxing....

Figured I haven't posted for a while, so here we are....
Since we've returned from Florida, I've just been lazing around the house thinking about getting back on the water and windsurfing! That sure was a nice feeling to sail again...good soul time. Margot is excited about getting herself her very own windsurfing gear this year. That'll be great for her for a couple of reasons. One: I'll get to use my stuff again!! and Two: It'll take her to the next level!! Right now she's between the Bic 293D, or a Fanatic Viper L. The Viper is the same as Guin's board except for the graphics and foot straps. The Bic is around the same volume and has a more short board look to it. Either board will be great for her. She'll be getting a 7.3m Neil Pryde Spirit from Silent Sports HERE and you can see the Bic board HERE or the Viper HERE. Post a comment on which one you like.

I like the Bic board 'cause it matches the sail (if those are actually the colours she'll get).

Guin - we ordered the board today!!! YEAHHH! And I wanted the blue one, because it matches the sail also! I'm very excited about my new gear!!

That is a great board Margot, you will have so much fun on it, I tried one down in Corpus just like it. Tom another Iowa guy had one and we switched boards for a while. I also got to try the JP x-cite 165, that was really nice as well. New gear is so fun. I am thinking of getting a new light wind board since that what we sail on most the time here, hard to decide on what though. :)

It was really hard to decide between the Bic and the Viper--I think my final vote went to the Bic board! We have to think of our colour schemes, right! Don't forget to co-ordinate a swimsuit or two Margot!!

Congrats on ordering the board. Yay! Who did you order it from? Lemmie know when it comes in and when you get the first sail. The water is already wide open down here.
