Go Windsurfing !

Today we made it out on the river for an hour long session. Although the lake is still covered in ice, the warm temps have opened up the mouth of the river for a great little area for windsurfing. We sailed over to the other side and saw Link with his parents watching us from shore. The wind was really cranking today with gusts to 30 knots!! Yikes!! Made it hard to hold down my 7.5m at times. Strat had a 6.6m and Margot took her old faithful 5.0m. We all fell in only once. Thank god, cause the water is still really, really chilly!! Great to be on the water again!

Way 2 go!!! I hope to get out tomorrow - may have to shoot a rapid (Frog) to get to open water.

Ya that must of been fun dad.. I am going to go
windsurfing this year for sure, I was really
good in Florida so I hope I still got my "mogo"
for windsurfing

Water is wide open here, but I only have a shorty wetsuit, so I have to wait until it warms up some more.

I admire your guts to try windsurfing in such cold water!!
