Soul Time...

April 19, 2005

Margot and I were out on the lake for a 40 min session tonight(windsurfing that is). What a great way to spend an evening together. She really wanted to go for a sail and I was humming and hawing about loading up the van, then unloading the van, then rigging up the sails, then unrigging the sails, then re-loading the van, and lastly, unloading the van again when we get back home, but for the 40 minutes on the water together, I'd do it everytime!! I actually remembered to bring my GPS this time! Top speed was 39.5 km/hr(wind speed was 21km/hr with the odd gust to 30km/hr) and I travelled a total distance of 9.7km! That's just back and forthing in front of the Dryden Yacht Club, cool eh!? I had my 10.4m and Margot was on her 6.0m. Man-o-man, my 10.4 sure is a quiet, powerful, pumping kinda sail. I Love it!!

Always good to get on the water!!
