Windy Wabigoon!!
What a 2hr session we had on Wabigoon Lake yesterday! The wind was blowing a steady 10-15 knots, then cranked right up to 22 knots from the SE. Strad was out on his GO 165/7.5m sail, and I had Schwaby's BIC 293 with her 7.1m sail. I wanted to try out her kit and give it a real test in some solid wind. The setup was alot of fun in the big waves!! I could actually jump the board on the larger ramps. That was fun!! We switched gear around the middle of our session and I was having a hard time keeping Strad's board on the water. His 58cm fin combined with and antiquated, overpowered 7.5m sail was creating alot of unwanted lift!! I did come back in and switched to my Prodigy, but the wind was a solid 20+ knots by then, and even that combo was a struggle. I was really getting worked in the big waves!! I thought it would have been a great time to get Shaggy/6.0m sail on the water. Next time for sure!!
Always good to be on the water!!

Hey Woody, we had a great session here in Des Moines, today. Sunny, 80 degrees in the air, water temp is now 64, there was decent wind (kind of gusty) out of the north west. Sailed my 112L Mistral Score with a 6.2m Neilpryde diablo, as well as a 5.4m Neilpryde supersonic. Also gave my Hypersonic 105 a try with the 5.4m sail, that board is scary fast. Larry, Randy Teng and Mark was also out as well as a bunch more guys here in DSM. Are you heading to Worthington on June 10th? I am plannig on going that weekend. Take care and kepp in touch, great picture. Let's talk soon.

Hey, save up some $$$ for a Pentax Optio WP, which stands for "Water Proof" and take some pictures on the lake! I saw one at Futureshop yesterday and they are compact and slick:
