Thanks Woody and Surf! What an "active" way to spend your birthday!!Super hot weather and beautiful warm water. We got in 7 races and I'm still so pumped that my results were so great! The competion was very tough, but for the very first time, I sailed with Linken's ( which brought me luck ), 8.5 m sail on Woody's prodigy! It was awesome crossing the finish line with Brad twice!! CAN 757's going strong! Also Uffe and me had a great finish in the last race, after he fell in, in front of me just before the down wind marker and I had to go around him and he beat me by a half second! That was fun! Great weekend!! Turning "29" is not bad at all!!! I'm ready to train for the " HO-HO" now!!!

Hello everyone, what a great weekend ! Everything was fenomenal at Fon Du Lac, WI. Food, camping arrangements, bon fire. Friends, competition, birthday-celebration. I guess the only thing that we could have had a little more of was the wind, but as I always say when I go to these really fun events. Having a windy day is just the bonus. Being around you guys and having fun is what matters the most. Great picture of you Schwaby, you don't look 29 yet in it even. I like the black and white a lot, that's way cool.
After you guys left and I sold my 20m kite I turned around and got the North R-Type 10.5 m sail for the money I got from the kite. (I should have kept the swedish flag for that sail instead) It is sweet looking, can't wait to try it. Check it out at NorthSails
Mine is a 2005 and it is a 10.5.
See you all in a few weeks again.

...and by the way, hanging out with you young guns, watching you throw giant trees in a bonfire all night, keeps us oldies young..and a little black and white doesn't hurt either!
We will send you some pictures!

Crossing update!
Ok so since we booked a 4- person cabin and a 7 -person loft at the Twin Pines I wanted to start figure out who is all going.
Here is what I have so far
Ulf + Kate
Woody + Wodette
Larry, Randy, Freedhelm
Paul + ?
Alfie + Ryan (kite buddies of ours)
That is 10 so far.
Anyone else we should count in at this point? Is Roland coming down? He stayed with the group last year.

Also, I went sailing on my new North-R Type 10.5m sail yestereday, man that sail is awesome, so stable and powerful. I think I want another one just like it, an 8.5 and I can sail in all conditions. :) The 10.5 is perfect on the BIC formula.

Hey Uffe, Looks like we're going to have a blast!! Glad your 10.5 is doing you good! Nice to have the stability of a cambered sail in the larger sizes. Seems to keep the draft locked in better. I'd like to try it out at Mille Lacs!!

Got the sail numbers on nit now, man that thing looks good, I think I just want to keep it around and look at it and never use it. But nah, I better use it too.
(PS, got my blog cleaned up) The company hosting it had some virus attack and a bunch of "dirty" comments were put on it. Thanks for letting me know guys.)
