Road Trip !!

Well, we're off to the good ol' USA this weekend for the North American Snowkite Jam being held in Garrison, Minnesota on Mille Lacs Lake. This is the same lake that we have our windsurfing ultimate challenge 'The Mille Lacs Crossing'. Margot is bringing her X-counrty skis in hopes of trying a trail or two out. She's also looking forward to the free kite instruction and trying out some of the different kites available. Paul and I will probably try and compete!? If they have a 'back and forth' catagory with no jumping or acrobatics, I'll probably cleanup!!

Looking forward to our first 'Road Trip' of 2006!

If it is, check out where the Master's Championship will be held in August.

Woody, Margot !
Kate is done working at 2 AM Saturday morning, I am packing all my gear and warm clothes for her now, then going to bed, I am picking her up at work at 2 AM then we are driving up together to meet you guys at Garrison Inn in the morning, should take me about 6 hrs to drive there. See you bright and early in the morning. Also bringing the cc skis and some Swedish beer. Wo hoo !!! Blue Goose, here we come... Can we crash one night in one of the rooms?

Great weekend everyone......... It was so a fantastic ......... Mine Best Ever...... For Snowkite and My Snow Board....... I think I really am going to ba able to do It.......

It was great to see everyone again! I think I had my best day ever Saturday. I learned to jump a little before the weekend, but with a few pointers from Steve B. I started boosting higher and landing softer. I even did some spins, and landed then!
I haven't got much done to my web page lately, but I'm learning the basics, so keep keep watching it http://www.wind4life.us

This is really interesting as I had no idea that just going to Google and looking up some particular information one would get to see this posting of friends and their particular stories. Keep up the good work and I hope to come around more often to this site and see what people are doing and how life is working out for them.
