Texas Bound !!

Well, this Tuesday the Woody's are off to Corpus Christi, Texas for some fun in the sun and windsurfing!
We're driving to Minneapolis Tuesday evening and staying overnight HERE which is located right beside the airport and only a few minutes drive from the Mall of America (too bad we won't have time for a tour of the Mall). We're then flying to Houston Wednesday morning where we'll be hooking-up with UFFE who is also flying to Houston from Des Moines, Iowa arriving around the same time. We'll then grab a rental mini van at the Houston airport, then all drive to Corpus Christi. Sometime on Thursday, Larry, Randy and Friedhelm (all from Team World) will be getting into Corpus! Larry and Randy are driving from Des Moines, while Friedhelm will be coming from Florida. We have a condo booked on the Gulf side located HERE which is only a ten minute drive to the windsurfing hot spot on Bird Island. We'll be renting our gear from WORLDWINDS which is a top notch windsurfing shop in the area. It'll be really nice to try out new gear and cruise in the warm waist deep water of the Laguna Madre inland of the Island.

Howdie guys and gals,
Great to hear your doing another windsurfing trip . Been to Chorpus about 20 years ago. Partyed with the spring break kids at 'Barbaroubas". I sailed most of the time at Bird Island, Quite a few more sailing areas around Chorpus, but it looks like you guys are set with the condo and sailing right there. Don't know how cowboy boots will go with a durndil or lader hosen but I am sure you will find something to match em up with. Don't want to rain on your parade but I too have something good to look forward to! Five of us here are Maui bound again. Leaving Easter Sunday. We will have 14 sailing days there. Can't wait. Have a good trip.
