Here's a few shots of The Iowa Crew. These guys are sailing machines! Randy had sailed 78 miles yesterday and I don't think Larry was too far behind. Uffe was tuning his gear to try and score 30mph, but just come up short at 29.9mph!! Friedhelm was out blasting around on his Bic 283 and changing sail sizes to the ever increasing winds throughout the day. Randy was working on his duck jibes, Uffe was getting some clean jibes in, Friedhelm was blasting all over the place and I don't think I saw Larry fall in the water once, except to stop and ask if I was okay after taking a major wipeout that I'm still finding it hard to walk today...
The Iowa Boys still have the rest of the week to windsurf while we slowly make our way back home.

See ya's all soon!!

It's so neat how the surfers camp right at the beach, get up in the morning and windsurf. Our condo was a 15 min. drive away and we enjoyed the luxury of it a lot, especially to soak our battle wounds at night! smiley

Camping on the beach looks like fun.

Hey, I could go for the comfort of a condo and surf as welll! Poor surfers with their wounded bodies, aah! Yeah! Ha! Ha!
Say HI to the Iowa group from me! That temp and winds sound just ideal--what a good decision to go to Corpus Christi and Padre Island! Love Mom etc. xoxoxo smiley smiley

Did you guys make it home ok? I got on the 7:20 AM flight to Chicago and made it on a 10:05 flight to Des Moines, I was home by 11:30, spend only 25 min on the ground at Ohare. Worked really good. Hopefully you guys had a good trip home.

Hello Woody's & Friends

Great to see the pics of ya all having a good time. The shots of Bird Island bring back some great memories. That was my 1st major road trip many years ago. Woody, the gear you were using looks similar to the stuff I was using on Maui last year. J.P. Real World Wave 83 & 91. Neil Pryde Search 4.2 & 4.7 sails. Probably use similar stuff this year. 20 days left till we depart. Hope everyone got back safely.

Take Care........tbayray
