Blue Lake Camping/Windsurfing

The annual pilgrimage to Blue Lake Provincial Park was so much fun! Our usual group of friends with kids pulled out the campers and pitched some tents to have the official start to summer go off with a bang. 'Ranger Bob' and 'Ranger Bobette' were in full force with noise warnings late at night and I'm really happy to report that not a one of them were created by me!!! Kudos to our kids for having fun while also being very responsible. Way to go guys and girls!!
The weather was very warm and considering the winds were very light, it was near perfect conditions for getting some new people on the water with the N.O.W. club gear. We must have had over 20 people getting on the water! Smiling faces to be seen everywhere and alot of miles logged trudging through the water with lessons.
Happy to be home and it's now time to start getting ready for our Moose Regatta!!

Great picks,

Especially with the youngin's learning windsurfing. I know Daniel would like to see more kids on the water. Looks like he may have some competition for the youngest windsurfer at Moosefest. I guess he is going to have to rely on his sailing skills. 5 days to go, see ya soon.

The kids did so great for their first time windsurfing. Brad and Strat had their hands full that's for sure. But so did I. One beer in each....
