With the fall colours at there peak, there wasn't a better time to get on the water and try out my new (to me) Mistral F2004 formula board.
After work today, I raced to Thunder Lake in The Blue Moose with Woodette not far behind in our FJ Cruiser to get maybe one of our last warm sessions of the season in windsurfing. I rigged my 9.8m Neil Pryde V8 and hopped on the water in the marginal planing conditions. Now, normally I would have never even dreamed of planing on my Prodigy with these winds, but the formula gear is unbelievable for early planing! Even with my 9.8 V8, I was planing in the smallest gusts, and when the wind filled in, I was away! Upwind, downwind anywhere I wanted to go...SWEET ride!! Margot was rippin' on her Bic/7.5m Neil Pryde V8 and Surfy joined us later also cruisin on a 7.5! The sunset was magical and we hung around in The Blue Moose for a while after with the heater on!! Lots of fun on and off the water!

I'm looking forward to an awesome Formula racing season in 2007!!

Have fun smiley

Nice board!
An awesome evening on and off the water. The colors, the water, the sunset, the company, what more could you ask for? smiley

The leaves have changed colours here, but they're not falling off yet- few weeks difference in the seasons here. Sunday it's supposed to be 20 degrees! smiley
