Road trip NORTH to Paul's new home!
What a gorgeous kitchen!
View from kitchen to living area
Kids up on the 2nd floor
Look at the view of the lake from the 2nd floor!
Paul's house from the lake
Paul giving some lessons on using a 4 line kite
Woodette flying a 6m Flysurfer Cool
Out on the lake ripping it up kiting!
Well, all The Woody's travelled one hour north (yes, you can drive farther north than Dryden!) to Sioux Lookout to spend the day with Paul and his family in their new home on the lake. Paul and Barb's house is truly spectacular! Barb has done a wonderful job designing the interior, colours, decor, etc, while Paul is quick to note that he chose the colour of the roof shingles!! With a full walk out basement to the lake, this is a dream house for many including Woodette and myself!! We shared a couple of hours on the lake kiting, then had some of Paul's home made chili. Yummy!!
Great day to be outside, AND inside the Matousek's wonderful home ![]()

Looks like a great time kiteskiing! I wish I could go. No winter here in TO this year.

Nice place...and a note on kiting; it looks like a blast, but I am imagining myself getting the kite caught in a tree or something hazardous!

Hey guys, long time no post. Paul nice castle, computer business must be HOT in CANADA. Love the views from the house, that's what I am dreaming of only.
Would love to have one of those nice foil kites for winter kiting, still have my old BEST kites, but would like to trade em in.
Will the moose Regatta have a guest race on Pauls lake this year?
Can't wait.
