Hatteras Day 5
Me ripping on a 6.2 and Kevin's old Mistral Vision (I use to own this exact board!)
Margot ripping on a 5.0 and a Prodigy! Nuts!!
That's John Darling ripping past Marg out in front of our place!
Woodette on the upper balcony. Nice view eh!
Practicing jibing on Kevin's Gratton's bouys that he has in the water.
Wow, already 5 days in Hatteras, and 5 days windsurfing! Whew, the bones are starting to feel the longer days windsurfing that's for sure. Had a nice morning on the water practicing my jibes. We were originally going to go to 'Windfest' in Frisco, but it was pretty chilly this morning and we heard that not many of the manufacturers were set up, so we decided to go windsurfing here instead. The wind has been 25-35mph all day so lots of people are out on the water despite the cold temps. We counted about 60 windsurfers and 20 kiters that we could see from our balcony. The days here are coming to an end, so we are all eager to get on the water and enjoy our time remaining.
I stopped by the 'Toronto House' and chatted with Tom Mae and John Darling. They've invited us over tomorrow night for a couple of going away pints, so we'll be sure to have some fun with them.
Ahhhh, another great day on the water ![]()

Supposed to hit 18C today. Yeeha! I see cracks in the lake. :-) Bruce has our gear lined up and ready to go. Can't wait to get on the water.
