Sunday's At Sandy Beach!
Dryland instruction before we hit the water
Just a great mix of people this day!
Smiles
Smiles
And more Smiles
Our local windsurfing club N.O.W. (Northwest Ontario Windsurfing) had a great outing last Sunday at Sandy Beach. We taught 10 new people the sport of windsurfing this past club outing! Wow, our best day yet! It seems the club slogan this year "Sunday's At Sandy Beach" is really starting to catch on with the locals. We had a beautiful sunny day with offshore winds gusting to 15 knots at times, so our students did very well in the challenging conditions. I brought my small boat to the beach and ended up on boat teaching/rescue most of the day which was alot of fun!
Lots of smiles and great times had by all!

Great photos...and no doubt a great job getting people excited about windsurfing.
