Knowing there was a warm fire burning in the ice shack, we decided to walk down to the lake and just hang out for a bit. The wind picked up, so we rigged our kites and headed out into the sunset...

Stay Cool....

you got cable and internet in that shack? hehe

Yep we sure do Mikey! Wireless Internet and cable TV. Just have to get a 27" flat panel TV to mount on the wall, a bed, some warm blankets and we can call it a 'cottage'!

That was just breath-taking. One of those great moments on the lake!

Nothing like a sunset cruise. Just got back from ripping in 25-40km winds. I had my 13m - a bit much at times - where's the advil?

Did you guys catch Rick Mercer windsurfing (not!)
at the TO boat show?

The Tbay ice racing is cool. Skip forward to the boat show. To bad they didn't show Phil busting some freestyle moves.

Couldn't stop laughing at Rick's clip up in TBay. Too funny. Eric and I were at the boat show sailing in the pool with fans. it was to promote the sport. No kiters there! What are you all up to these days??

Hi Andree,

great to hear from you. My email and site was down for a few weeks. It was so cold here (-50 C below), so we were in hibernating mode. Have been out kiting a few times, but need lots of practise still. Amazing all the trouble Woody gets me into! And hey, it was the Pirates birthday on Saturday! I believe it was his big 50!!

Keep in touch!

Woodette
